I love a good restaurant & appreciate how hard the business is, but uncompromising customer service goes a long way to compensate for other issues that do happen. The only reason we didn't give them a 1 is that the food was ok. Then they added their 18% gratuity which I find amusing since we always leave a minimum of 20%.their loss. A bunch of kids is running this place with no mature adult in sight. The food was ok overall but not worth the prices. My daughter's fried shrimp was so salty she couldn't eat it. The salad came out just before the food after we asked them to cancel it since we didn't get it earlier. Our server was very nice but when I asked if I could substitute the kind of fish on a $30 seafood combo from cold water cod to a Florida fish they offered elsewhere on the menu I was told no. There was an unmistakable arrogance that made us feel they were doing us a favor. With the rest of the place nearly empty! She said she couldn't put tables together while at the same time they were pulling together tables for us in the back. We asked to be moved to the shaded table next to ours & the young hostess said no & took us clear to the back as far away from the ocean as possible. The deck overlooking the ocean was nearly empty but they seated us at the only table that was in the hot sun with no breeze.

Maybe we were spoiled after experiencing the professional accommodating customer service at the marina because we were very disappointed less than 5 minutes after we got to the restaurant. Took our family of eleven to this Oceanside open air restaurant with a beautiful view for an early dinner after visiting Gulf World Marine Park which we loved.
